Tasting Notes
To the eye, fine and persistent bubbles give life to the rich amber gold. On a background of mineral aromas, the nose expresses intense notes of pear, peach and blackcurrant, accompanied by a touch of citrus and oriental spices.
Perfectly ripe fruit flavours such as pear, mirabelle plum and mango linger deliciously on the palate, melting away in a wine with deep vitality and minerality. The long and fresh finish reveals notes of spices and exotic fruits.
Fonseca Terra Prima Organic Port
Tasting Notes
A wonderfully rich, concentrated Port with great flavour and texture. It has an
opulent black fruit nose which is followed through on the palate showing layers
of intense berry, plum and cherry fruit flavour supported by firm, but well
integrated tannins. A deliciously textured Reserve Port which is velvety, smooth,
succulent and plump.

Details of production
Fonseca was one of the pioneers of organic viticulture in the Douro valley.
An area of its flagship estate, Quinta do Panascal in the Távora Valley, was
converted to organic viticulture in 1992 and today its Quinta de Santo António
in the Pinhão Valley is entirely certified for organic production. In 2002 it
became possible for the first time to produce a Port made entirely from grapes
derived from certified organic viticulture. This was due to an agreement with
a specialised distiller who was able to supply grape spirit for fortification made
from certified organically farmed grapes. The result was Terra Prima Reserve, an
elegant reserve blend, displaying fresh vibrant fruit, in which organic viticulture
has allowed the traditional port grape varieties to express their natural aromas to
the full.
San Fabiano Calcinaia Organic Chianti Classico 2014
Red ruby color, with light garnet hues, perfume persistent end with signs of violet mature fruits and spicy. Structure of consistence and to the taste it distinguishes for a good personal note of freshness that accompanies the notable load of strong and velvety tannins, long persistence wine, it is well balanced, uniting in pleasant way the feeling of heat to the soft elegance of the tannins and the correct acidity.

Soft and supple with juicy fruit flavours, this mouth filling wine has ripe tannins and an elegant finish, a remarkable Chinon.
Centovie Organic Pecorino Colli Aprutini IGT, AVUR 2015
A light straw yellow white wine with a delicate bouquet of elderberry, acacia and spring flowers. On the palate it shows a light, nearly evanescent, touch of wood. Well structured, with a good bite of minerality, lingering aftertaste.
Sedlescombe Organic Old Vine 2015 75cl
Made exclusively from 35 year old Bacchus, Reichensteiner and Faber vines. Dry, elegant bouquet. Weightier and more complex than many English wines, perhaps proving that old vines do indeed come up with the goods! International Silver Medal
